Sonae IM, the Investment Management unit within Sonae’s business portfolio, is focused on investing in tech companies in the telecommunications and retail sectors. It is currently present in 13 countries, employing over 1,000 collaborators, with a portfolio that includes WeDo, Saphety, Bizdirect and S21SEC, and Movvo.
The portfolio’s most recent partner is Bright Pixel, a Company Building Studio (CBS) that will be working as a business hub in Portugal and Spain. This activity will contribute to enhance Sonae IM's portfolio with new companies and investments, strengthening its current asset base and generating consolidation opportunities, both nationally and internationally.
